Spotlight On Kriste Michelini Interiors
A while ago I stumbled on some images of the most gloriously designed floral studio. It was like every dream I’d ever had about floral studios that I’d never actually had but could ostensibly have.
I tucked the images away in some interweb inspiration file or other, reconciling myself to the sad fact that a floral studio was an odd space to spotlight here.
That was until a recent interiors hunt resulted in the discovery of a totally spectacular laundry room, which landed me right back at the homepage of none of than Kriste Michelini Interiors, the same artiste who’d worked her magic on the flower palace.
This time, my only reaction was to think, “hot damn! I gotta share this fast.”
La fleurplace:
Of course I adore the white–white walls, white ceilings, and really, what a perfect backdrop against which the many varied hues of flowers might show off.
While the space feels on trend, there’s an undeniable air of timelessness happening here. It’s as if Kriste has taken the best of the classics and the freshest of the current fashions and whipped them into a frenzy known also as perfect balance.
You just try telling me you would not like very much to get your flowers here. Try.
Oh, and about that laundry room:
Yes, I know, it is as good as you were hoping it’d be, isn’t it?

Wow! It would like going to a little florist cafe, but instead of latte you would be served Lillies. Can this just be my house
