Spotlight On Clayton & Little Architects
I have been a fan of Clayton & Little ever since a wood paneled kitchen done by them restored the faith I had never consciously cultivated in wood panelling (which had formerly been tainted by a childhood bedroom done entirely in wood paneling that always felt to me more dark and oppressive than cozy and cabin-like).
But when I saw one of their latest projects–the glorious space that shall feature in a mere moment, I got that pee-in-my-pants excitement that can only ever mean one thing: blog post, (yeah) baby (yeah).
This room, guys. That ceiling. Those chairs. Seriously, look!
I do believe, unless my eyes are playing tricks, that right there is a light pink kitchen island, which is sort of like the exclamation point after the utterance: Clayton & Little is my jam!
Dig this perfect hallway action:
Not to mention this tub, which has all the claws of a wildebeest.
This whole set up is just stupid good. Just stupid.
You know, come to think of it, it would be ethically questionable not to share at least a few of their other project highlights in addition:

Oh, hi, that’s an art studio down yonder.
And no, we’re not through yet because I have potentially saved the best for last.
C & L meets restaurant design; C & L slays design job; restaurant (Josephine House, if we’re being proper although we’re most certainly not) earns the number 8 spot on list of best new restaurants in 2013.
Coincidence?
Notttttttttt!
