We’ve skirted all around today’s post topic–there was the post about door racks, the one about small space friendly bookshelves, but today, finally, we come to Exhibit C: the behind the door library.

Well yes, I realize these photos do all depict children’s books, but I assure you, this concept could be adultified. In what way? You ask. Fantastic question. By using the space for any things that are flat. Ish. Like what? Like grown up reading materials (not porn you dirty scoundrel), coffee table books, albums for certain, dvds, and the like.

But really, you might take this idea and run with it. If behind the door but not on the door is now considered viable storage space, just think of the possibilities! You might find it a suitable place to hang a rack from which you would suspend your scarves, belts, or ties. Or, if you’re of the ladylike variety: your nail polishes. Or makeup! Or…Laundry supplies in a tight laundry room!

You know what? I brought you to the Whole Foods. You’ve got to bag the kale.
