The Metamorphosing Armoire
Have you ever thought to wonder at the versatility of the armoire? Well, today’s the day to do so because today, nuggets, today I am going to present to you with a smorgasbord of armoires whose reincarnations are so multitudinous you might even pee your pants in excitement– a detachable, free-standing closet. The possibilities, I tell you, they’re endless.
Exhibit A: a rather traditional employment of the armoire; clothing.
We’ve only just arrived at Exhibit B when things take a fascinating turn– this armoire substitutes for an entire entryway closet.
But get ready to have your headbands blown off, because C is even spiffier: armoire-gone-bar. Look into it.
D is for dangerous as in: wow, that armoire so efficiently replaces a kitchen pantry/ closet/ drawers, it’s dangerous. Just go with it.
The owners of this next armoire have seemingly managed to situate the entire contents of a laundry room within. Minus the washing machines of course. Unless those are just slightly out of shot. That must be it.
Exhibit Next has transformed into a home for craft supplies. That peg and cork board on the doors is a nice touch, don’t you think?
G, we’re on G. Who needs an office when you’ve got an armoire?
And lastly, an armoire turned garden tool shed.
I could go on but I’ve got the sneaking suspicion you’ve gotten the point. In summary, armoires can be filled with anything. The end.
Before you run off, if you have an armoire in your life, I’m sure we’d all be keen to hear what you keep within. Or what you wish you did. Or make-believe. Bye!Image credits: Country Living via Boxwood Clippings, House & Home, BHG, Martha Stewart, BHG, Maple and Magnolia, Wisteria, Art is Beauty
