Corner Bar Closets–A Small Space Solution
Here comes an idea favorable for those dwelling in small spaces, who nonetheless wish to entertain houseguests.
The custom of the country, as it turns out is (more than just a book I read for a college English course) to provide one’s guests a place to hang their clothing. A proper closet is the preferable choice, only there are plenty of circumstances in which preferable does not equate to possible.
Even those who possess a guest room may not be so fortunate as to possess a guest closet. Not wanting to leave their visitors destitute, the hosts are left to brainstorm alternative solutions.
Thusly we are brought back around to this post’s opener–that of the favorable idea.
The corner hanging bar closet.
Taking up minimal (and otherwise mostly unusable) space, the corner hanging bar closet is a nod to a legitimate closet. It’s the perfect way to tell your guests, “look; we tried!” without sacrificing more of your personal space, resources, et cetera.
You can scoop some up ready-made from CB2, should you choose.
Evidently the idea is an easy DIY–so says Radical Possibility.

And SF Girl By Bay chimes in with a similar, uber-chic take on the corner bar.
Corners: not so dumb after all (did we ever think they were? anyhow).
