If there’s one small factor that can subtly bring a household or an office down it’s charging cords.

We might not be robots quite yet, but we might as well be, since our reliance on our devices makes them more like extensions of ourselves than tools. Like we humans need sleep, our robot pieces need the recharge.

The busier the household, the more phones, computers, tablets, and e-readers there are, the more cords there are to wrangle and keep track of. Some family member has always taken that one cord over to his room and then that other person can’t remember what happened to the kindle cord and Apple has so generously (ahem) given you a pair of white tangle-prone earbuds every time you’ve purchased anything–even though you don’t even like earbuds–along with a stupidly short usb cord and adaptor, and so your drawers are overflowing with usb’s and tangled earbud cord knots, and you’re like “AHHH, HELP SOMEONE! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS? WHY DOES LIFE HAVE TO BE SO HARD???”

Oh, hey, turns out it doesn’t.
