The LS Guide To Organizing Magazine Clippings
Despite the ever-burgeoning prominence of virtual cataloging platforms (do I really need to name names-Pinterest), many still appreciate real live magazines in all their glossy-paged glory. These devoted souls, constantly devouring the gospel dispensed from the offices of Vogue, Bazaar or Elle Decor, will inevitably encounter a dilemma along the periodical way.
Attached at the heartstrings and perfume ads to select magazines articles and pages, they will incorrectly assume that their only option in preserving said exposés is to save the magazine in its entirety– thus leading to massive magazine stacks that commonly conquer whole apartments.
I have delved into the topic of digest management prior, so if these ramblings sound familiar I assure you this isn’t a case of deja vu or early onset Dementia. It’s just a topic I happen to be passionate about, ya hear? I’m trying to free the bitties of the world from the towering glossy stack! Some of us have missions here.
Below you will find- first for individual magazine clippings and secondly for whole articles- in step by step detail, the process by which a person might endeavor to unbury herself from too many magazines, while still hoarding specially adored segments.
Kaboom! Now speak your piece.

The neatness is less the emphasis than the doing it!! 🙂

TEN mags.???? Ha!!! Try millions! Well, ok, not literally, but close…and yes, it really is a chore…thanks for the help!!

Love these ideas – I tend to rip the pages out then blutack them to the wall, but I think your method sounds more efficicient!! And more organised of course 😉

I needed the push to do this. Now I need to DO it! I just moved my growing stack of glossy cutouts and articles half-way across the country. The good news is I didn’t move the box of magazines, but only a small stack of articles. I also cut down my empty binder collection by 50% prior to the move. Now to put one (or two) of those binders to use and get rid of that glossy stack. Thank you for the inspiration and permission!

Good for you!! Get to that stack!

I had a binder like this of exercises I’d torn out from fitness magazines. When I moved, I gave it to a friend who was looking to learn / do more, and she was overjoyed! I have just as many, now, waiting to be put in sheet protectors.
