Gift Wrapping Station
Keeping in mind this week’s mediation (On Gifts), hopefully you’ve resolved to include some especial and less tangible aspects to your gifting this year. There is still, though, the matter of wrapping the tangible ones.
If you have a bundle of presents to wrap, it may be wise to set yourself up a little gift wrapping station. Whether it remains a permanent fixture is between you and your craft room (some of you just laughed at the notion of that term), but at the very least you can assemble all the necessities in one place temporarily.
So, gather together the things you’ll need to wrap your gifts:
– Tape (The Pop-up Tape Handband Dispenser may be necessary if you’re absent a helper hand)
– Scissors (these Hoffritz Gift Wrapping Shears are pretty cool– tape, scissors and straight edge in one)
– Ribbon
– Wrapping and tissue paper
– Gift bags
– Gift tags
– Cards
And get to setting up your station:
If you have lots of gifts to ship, you may also want to converge packing supplies in one spot.
Look at you– all wrapped up and shipped out. Boom.
Now you can stretch your hamstrings, drink your soy latte, and twinkle your nose in pleasure.

We had a craft room in our Ballard house, Annie, and even the space-challenged can indulge if they follow your example and organize their space well. If you’re willing to use the kitchen table as a work table, you’re 3/4 of the way there!
