The Best Organizers To Cut Bathroom Clutter

July 9, 2013

The bathroom is one of those places wherein clutter can quickly accumulate, if not for some smart storage systems (To which you might reply, “What room isn’t like that?” To which I would reply, “Yes.”).

The bathroom contains a few distinct zones, each one requiring its own organization. Here are helpful bathroom organizers for all.

For under the sink spaces (especially like the one seen here sans cabinets) baskets and bins are your best bet. A nice big basket can be used to coral bulkier items, like the hair appliances I placed in the basket below:

If you have lots of smaller items like cosmetic products, then more modest sized bins or baskets, each one designated for a specific category, can work well.

As is common knowledge around these parts by this point, I’m a large proponent of the acrylic tray for the bath. They’re an obvious winner when it comes to drawer organizing,

and can work equally as well when kept counter-top. The one seen here houses my client’s essentials– things she needs within easy reach at all times, and therefore necessarily out on the counter.

Without the divided tray organizer, the counter would be strewn with various products, appearing cluttered and thus inviting clutter.

Also fitting for countertops are canisters for things like Q-tips and cotton pads. These come in every style imaginable, and their usefulness should not be overlooked.

Cabinets can be outfitted according to the under the sink guidelines discussed above. We used standard plastic storage bins in the cabinet below for organizing medicine cabinet things as well as back-up cosmetic supplies. We also installed some chrome glide out shelves on the bottom to keep everything way down there easy to reach.

There you have it. And should you feel compelled to buy it, too:

1. Acrylic Stacking Tray // 2. 3-Shelf Storage Tower (not shown in the bathroom above, but kept in the toilet area to stow spare paper rolls, etc.) // 3. Step Trash Can (not shown in pictures but also used and loved for its convenient step-open) // 4. Bliss Acrylic Canister // 5. Flip & Fit Shower Caddy // 6. Basil Dorset Wicker Basket // 7. Roll-Out Chrome Cabinet Drawer // 8. Storage Boxes
