Monthly Mantra: December 2021
I AM GRATEFUL FOR ALL THAT I HAVE, AND FOR ALL THAT IS ALREADY ON ITS WAY TO ME. I HAVE SO MUCH. I TRUST THAT THIS WILL ALWAYS BE TRUE.
Whether or not you’ve known it, you are abundant. You are a wealth of life, and you contain the same stuff as the stars. Abundance is for you because it is you.
What prevents us from feeling abundant is fear; fear that we won’t have enough and fear that we will feel badly in the future. A mind that lets fear be the driver becomes one ruled by scarcity. Fearing lack, it focuses on lack, and thus creates lack. In the same way, a grateful, faithful mind channels abundance, and thus increases abundance.
Abundance is subjective–what is much to one may be less to another. Gratitude expands everything, regardless. When we acknowledge the blessings we have, and the riches, metaphorical or literal, that are ours, we begin to feel that we have even more. The more that we look for proof of our fortune, the more evidence we find.
But abundance is not about greedily hoarding, amassing endlessly, or collecting excess. An abundant state is one in which you have enough to give away your excess to those who have been less fortunate than you. Donate funds to worthy causes. Employ deserving talent. Support local companies.
The more you have, the more you have to give. Abundance is using your wealth, or privilege, or luck, or a combination of the three to empower others.
That’s ultimately why it behooves all of us to embrace abundance. Not so that there’s enough just for us, but to ensure there’s enough to spread around.
Grow into your highest self to help others grow into their highest selves.
Attract fortune to give fortune away.
Create to contribute.
Earn power to empower.
Act as a vessel, through which can flow all the riches this life has to offer.
