Live Simply All-Star: The Tray
Trays must just be the most effective organizing product that’s actually a faux entity. Allow me to explain:
Trays are to a multitude of areas what the placemat is to the dining room table: you haven’t essentially changed or added anything substantial, but all of sudden, your plate, napkin, and silverware have an officially appointed place on which to be situated.
The same goes for trays; they are virtually the exact same thing as the flat surface on which they are placed. The tray might as well be the counter. Yet with those extra couple centimeters in height, and an edge, the tray creates the facade of a distinct surface in and of itself. So all of a sudden, where there was one a vast and undefined countertop space, there is now a specific home for your goodies to live. And of course, where there is a specific home, there may be successful organization.
Tricky, tricky those trays, eh?
The other main factor that raises the tray to all-star status is its’ versatility. These planes perform equally well in the bathroom as they do in the kitchen, as well in the living room as they do the bedroom. Use them for cosmetics, magazines, frames, flowers- they will not disappoint!

Trays are a beautiful way to organize accessories and love them on an ottoman…gorgeous images!!

Love this post girl! I seriously adore a tray here and there throughout the home. Besides its organizing benefits, I think they really tie a few lose ends together in one spot. xo

I absolute love this idea.. It also makes it ideal for cleaning too!. I think I am going to implement this in my home.. SO much easier.. Thank You! 🙂
