I should probably take this opportunity to come off as unbelievably timely in my posting subject matter. Here I am, posting about lunch boxes because it’s almost back-to-school season and aren’t I so on top of things?

In actuality, lunch boxes are front of mind merely because, for the first time since I was in fifth grade, I decided recently to go ahead and get myself one. I’ve been much better lately about remembering to pack provisions, only, after a handful of late afternoon encounters with lukewarm (who knew that was one word? Did you all? Aw, man.) humus, the desire for a bag which would somehow magically keep my food cold was born.

So I ditched the informal lululemon bag which had previously been toting my groceries and committed to a legitimate, insulated lunch box. And guess what? It’s so cool! I mean, I put my packed salad in there at 9am and it’s rearing to go at 4pm when I first come up for air.
