10 Of The Most Stylish Sleeper Sofas
I’ve had quite a few clients recently in need of a convertible guest-hosting situation.
This is either a very good sign, as it suggests that people are moving away from the notion that they should be reserving an entire room in their houses for the benefit of someone who may or may not visit, say, once or thrice a year, and moving more towards the thought that a person’s home should serve that person, first and foremost, or it suggests that people’s spaces are getting smaller and smaller, because overpopulation and exponentially increasing housing prices and SACRIFICE.
One thing at least we know for sure: the above was the most blatant run-on sentence this blog has ever suffered. Clarity where you can find it, folks. Seek it where you can find it.
I hold resolutely that Murphy beds are the premium in convertible sleeping set ups. And the things they make these days! You could faint from the shock of finding out that fridge/bookcase/chalkboard/science lab pulled down to reveal that behind door number 1 is a Bed.
But after Senior Murphy, a really stylish sleeper sofa is the winning ticket.
And let me tell you: the market has come along since 1992, when you last shopped at Art Van for a sofabed. Style and sleep can coexist.
Frankly: why should you accomodate guests you don’t currently have? Why should you lug and tug that fickle air mattress?
(Anyhow, between you and me I kind of have it out for proper “guest rooms,” since 7.3 times out of 10 they turn into “the room with the bed and all our other stuff we’re avoiding dealing with.”)
Sleeper sofas for all, hey!
And if you want to convince them you’re the best host around–bona fide bed or not:

Please to appreciate today’s collages–they took me too long. Seriously, I might suck my thumb in self-pity if not.
I was pacifier all the way.
