I recently came to the conclusion that my kitchen drawer just wasn’t Living Simply enough. As reprieve for that fact, I decided to treat the drawer to a more deluxe organizational offering than some sad plastic tray– That baby was gettin’ bamboo (oh, the bamboo; there’s lots more to be said on that front, and we’ll get to that soon enough).
This was decided on the fly (while at the store), and I was sans drawer measurements–a classic organizing no-no. Don’t do as I say, do as I do? Reverse that. Anyhow, I scooped up this expandable bamboo drawer organizer to give myself a bit more leeway, knowing that it was definitely small enough to fit the drawer, and, if need be, could be extended further.
I got it home (cleaning it prior to utensil insertion because obviously, new ≠ clean), and, well, would you look at this beauty?
My spatulas were luxuriating I tell you.
This is where it gets good. “Show me what you can do, expandable bamboo drawer organizer,” I told it. Two glides later and I was gazing down at a product that had more than doubled in size.
The can opener had room for a lounge chair; the chip clips might have had a satellite dish installed.
And then, you know, just for good measure, and to prove the numerous applications possible, I pulled out the nail polish (which strangely seems to be my test subject of choice although I can’t reasonably explain why).
(Why, yes, those are remaining filaments of nail on that file now that you mention it).
So that’s that. LS seal of approval officially applied.
