The Solution Your Vertical Space Is Desperate For: Storage Towers
Last week I was having a little pow wow with the Jojotastic-est of them all, who’s currently in the midst of a bathroom overhaul. What the bathroom has in height it lacks in storage space, and thus she was (is?) on the hunt for a tall, narrow unit to solve her storage woes.
She showed me all the options she had found, we agreed on their shortcomings and upsides, and together lamented the overall drought in the vertical, higher quality, more aesthetically appealing storage unit market.
Afterwards, I had a serious case of retroactive deja vu. (Is there such a thing? If so, I had it.)
How many times, I realized, had I attempted to find the same mythical furniture piece for clients who had only vertical space to work with? I didn’t count, but positively more than four.
Plenty of people–even those in small spaces, have vertical inches to work with. And the inclination to utilize said inches is commendable. Work what you’ve got and all.
So I revisited previously sourced skinny tall storage selections, found a dose of new offerings to add into the mix and voila:
2. Avanity Modero Chilled Gray 24-Inch Linen Tower
4. Avanity Modero 24-Inch Linen Tower in White Finish
5. Hans Andersen Home Xavier Storage Shelf
6. Industrial Modular 17″ Open + Closed Storage
7. The Orleans Gray Powder-Coated Steel and Faux Marble Six Tier Tower
9. Design Workshop Tall Thin Tower
Go show your strip of empty wall who’s boss.
And then show your belongings that you Live Simply by putting them in your newly acquired storage unit.
Seriously.
Get that stuff off the floor.
Why is it still there.
