Sometimes, I flip through the pages of shelter magazines and feel a bit confounded, tempted to ask the question, “Is this chic?? ‘Cause I could almost swear it was actually crazy.” Does anyone else ever experience that kind of vertigo that’s induced by the sight of too many important, fahncy, very hard to come by things crammed into one room??

In any case, Bria Hammel Interiors, based in St. Paul, Minnesota is the antithesis of that.

In fact, I find that just scrolling past a B.H. designed space on instagram is akin to falling gently into a soft pillow of cloud. I mean a really skillfully decorated, subdued but not repressed, texture-rich, neutral-toned, cloud that whispers hush hush while swinging a tennis racket while putting its peace sign down.
