The Repurposed Cake Stand Organizer

February 12, 2013

Cake stands are akin to trays; they both create a distinguished spot on an otherwise vast surface, thus enabling organization. Cake stands just do it at a higher elevation is all.

The cake stand is a winner in the kitchen (for things beyond the cake). Use your dessert-plate-on- stilt for organizing such items as spices, essential cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper and olive oil, dish brush and soap, even handy fruit or some especially fun mugs.

It’s equally useful in the commode– use it for keeping toiletries out on the counter but still neat.

If you thought those were good, just wait until you get a hold of the cake stand come dressing room organizer. Why not display your most fabulous baubles, accessories and scents in its midst?

Lastly, the cake stand makes a play for the main living areas; behold the cake stand as mail-catcher and coffee table composer.

What say you about this repurpose method?

I adore cake stands. They’re the perfect way to display perfumes on a vanity or baked goodies in the kitchen!
