Spotlight on Evars + Anderson Interiors

May 10, 2013

Hi kids.

I hope it’s been a swell week in your world. Thanks for stopping in here (yet again?).

I hope I’ll make it worth your while with the lovely work of San Francisco based Evars + Anderson Interior Design. Like other interiors I’m drawn to, their spaces are uncluttered (duh.), and dare I say it, even downright soothing.

Let’s start off with this dining room, which tends towards the polished side of things. It’s classic, unfussy, and it might have been trailing off towards dull-town were it not for those bright fuchsia chair-backs. Methinks there’s just enough fun for the overall effect to be one of balance and poise.

The same can be said for the spaces below (minus the fuchsia and plus a dose of metallic silver).

Okay, this kitchen. It’s beautiful and so on but what gets me is that skylight. Bright, light-filled white kitchen with marble accents? Sign my name on the line which is dotted.

Another room flooded with sunlight, so you know it can’t be bad. This little seating area, window adjacent, is quaint. It’s delicate, a bit, and rather just delightful.

Which continues on in the sitting room, where clean white walls are once again excited by infusions of vibrant hues.

And last, it’s a couple of hang out spots. I’m a sucker for tufted anything, as well as graphic wall decor, so pretty much just done and done.

Okay, no mas por today.

Behave yourselves, for peet’s sake. Bye!

hi annie – what a treat to see our work featured on your fabulous blog…thank you SO much! i think you really captured the essence of our style! our signature look is one that starts with a neutral background then bring in the pops of color with accessories and accent furniture. we like to use a mix of textures & patterns – such as grasscloth, fabrics, metals, etc to give our spaces movement even if we’re working with a neutral palette. thanks again for recognizing our work!! 🙂
