Spotlight On Lorraine Bonaventura Architect

July 10, 2014

Oh hey there.

It’s treat time for your peepers, isn’t that fun?

Today’s finger lickin’ fun comes care of Lorraine Bonaventura Architect, a New York firm whose skill level in restoration and renovation is currently dialing in at mastery. That’s putting it mildly.

Let’s start it out with this hallway scene:

row house hallway with skylight, white walls and beautifully restored wood floors.

Light floods in from a perfectly situated skylight while a pup prances overtop the ral gorgeous flooring. Floor like that makes you want to toast up a loaf of quality grain so you have a place to spread the stuff; bet it tastes caramel, chocolate and espresso all mixed together in one heavenly condiment is what I bet.

Next are two bathrooms, both of which are utterly serene.

Now check out Lorraine’s take on children: charming and clean. That might be one of the world’s best combinations. I didn’t say best, but one of.

Charming kid's bedroom with bunk beds.

That’s followed by a workspace that’s quite modern in feel, yet somehow blends in seamlessly with the Old New York vibe.

This is pretty ridiculous. Which is another way of saying glorious.

This row house is too good to be true! Kitchen opens up directly to the patio.

Lovely white kitchen with vintage style oven and subway tiling.

Which is another way of saying let’s move in, at least for a dinner soiree, meet me there at 7:30, Bonavent, hey?

Gorgeous dining space with bookshelves and a fireplace.

Deep breath. No, gag me. No, deep breath.

Lovely white kitchen with vintage style oven and subway tiling blends into this gorgeous dining area with rustic wood accents.
