The Small Kitchen Storage Solution For Pots & Pans

October 1, 2014

The two areas in which the effects of limited space can perhaps be felt most are the closet and the kitchen. And between the two of them, only the latter requires you to carry out activities within. After all, you can get dressed anywhere, but you can only boil water on the stove, unless you have that genie thing going.

Really this post has no intent to pit the closet and kitchen against each other–domestic harmony is the order of the day (why’d you bring the closet up anyway?)–but instead aims to illustrate the importance of efficiency in kitchens of the smaller variety.

Anyone who physically prepares food generally finds such things as pots and pans to be cooking essentials, even those chefs residing in pint-sized kitchens. The trouble is that pots and pans are the whales of the cooking instruments. They’re big clunkers is what they are and they cause headaches even for people with a wealth of kitchen space.

Hence, I present unto you a potential solution to the problem of pots and pans in a little kitchen.

An answer to the prayers of people with small kitchens everywhere! A storage solution for pots & pans that's easy and affordable.

A rail and some hooks can easily be hung on any wall in the kitchen. In the process, you’ll reap the following benefits: 1. the chance to utilize what might otherwise be wasted vertical space, 2. a storage method that devotes the least amount of space to pots and pans, and 3. a system that serves on both the function and style levels.

Don’t stop at the pans if you’re not so inclined; hang those measuring cups, strainers, and spatulas in similar fashion if you like!

For years I was Anti-Pot Rack. Finally caved in to my husband when he said that my new pans would be ruined like the old ones if I kept throwing them in the bottom cupboard.
I really like the decoration that it adds to my kitchen and how easy it is to get my pans.
