Spotlight On Erin Kestenbaum

May 18, 2017

I’ve been following Erin Kestenbaum on Instagram for a little while now. How long exactly in social media time is hard to say; long enough that I’m completely bewildered as to how it’s possible that homegirl doesn’t have scads more followers than she does. But here I am, proof of the quality-over-quantity consolation, invested enough to devote a blog post to Erin’s talent.

So here’s the thing about Erin: she’s a low-key, design aficionado wrapped up in a crunchy, chocolatey photographer coating, which is another way of saying “the whole package.” She’s running the show from the opening dry walling act to the photographing finale, and every time I scroll past her posts I’m confounded, “who even is this person??”

Who she is, evidently, is a fearless renovator of a 1940s colonial in Connecticut, and a lover of layered, collected spaces that meld vintage classics with modern glamour. Erin, I would unfollow you just to be able to follow you again.

Follow Erin’s instagram here, peruse her photography portfolio here, keep up with her interior projects here, and scope her design work down yonder.
