Happy end of “workweek” dear readers. Today I present you with a few white spaces that have caught my eye lately, and which we might as well add to the multitudes already posted on this here blog.

Exhibit A.

Striking, isn’t it?

What, precisely, is it, you ask? Umm, a candy room– obviously? (I won’t even begin to imagine the house in which a room officially allocated for sweets is present. But I heartily endorse your all attempting to do so).

Next up, it’s a delightfully renovated white cottage by the lake. A little bit Country Living, a little bit tastefully nautical, it’s so darn inviting I find it hard to resist packing up a little overnight bag and showing up at the front door for a weekend stay. (I’m kidding, I can’t pack a small bag).

Space #3 is quite like a dream. A dream in which a tandem lover of white and turquoise, open shelf vignettes and natural light are realized. I might say “pinch me” if I didn’t find the expression to be so hopelessly tired.

Below, white meets wood in a big, slanted-ceiling, exposed beam way. It’s perhaps just enough shabby to still be chic.

Finally, the white continues, albeit in a slightly crisper, more high maintenance manner. But you know, high maintenance in the endearing way (would we say high maintenance can ever be such a thing?)

In conclusion: take the time to ask your waiter’s name, he just might be an interesting person like you or I.
