10 Lovely Laundry Hampers

March 26, 2014

Clients consistently ask me to source various household items, and one of the more popular requests is for non-heinous laundry hampers.

I get it! They hang out all over the house, they’re often in flux between rooms, loitering in hallways for all eyes to see. It’d be nice if the thing wasn’t so dang ugly.

Happiest to oblige over here, that’s me.

And thus I offer up to you ten hampers which, at least, appeal to me, and that’s something.

1. Seville Classics Hand-Woven Oval Hyacinth Double Hamper

2. Hanam Stripe Single Hamper

3. French Laundry Home “Laundry” Tote

4. Household Essentials Quad Laundry Sorter, Bamboo Frame with Black Canvas Bags

5. Bamboo Laundry Collection, Leaning Bath Shelf

6. Skyler Metal Rolling Hamper

7. Bamboo Laundry Hamper, Slatted

8. Half Moon Laundry Basket design by Ferm Living

9. Curved Basket, Hamper, Natural

10. Ticking Stripe- Gray Hamper

So listen, what’s the skinny on your hamper situation? Haggard or heavenly? I can’t wait to hear about it because this is the kind of stuff my conversation dreams are made of.

    Hi Annie!
These are so nice! We don’t own a hamper at our house. Since our laundry is located in a closet at the end of the kitchen, we have a large laundry basket on a shelf where we deposit soiled laundry. With three of us, I do laundry almost every day, at least one load. As soon as the load is clean, dried, folded or hung up, it is immediately returned to the bedrooms. I am OCD about it. We don’t have room for loads of dirty laundry to sit around. The closet can be seen from the front door in the living room which is all the more to keep it done and the doors closed from view. This is the third move for the laundry area; first in a room off the garage downstairs, then it was located in the corner of the family room, and now at the end of the kitchen which is so convenient.
    Make every day special,
    Joyce
    P.S. If I had one, I would chose 1-awesome!
